Hello...

I'm Paul Edworthy, and I began my journey as a Celebrant in 2024, though I bring over 25 years of experience in creating meaningful, heartfelt moments that truly matter. For me, it's a deep honour to help craft ceremonies that thoughtfully and creatively reflect the people, stories, and values that are most important. Every occasion is unique, and I’m passionate about making sure it feels personal, genuine, and memorable.

Abstract Background

My Story...

I live in sunny East Sussex—a place my family and I absolutely love. The mix of the rolling South Downs and the beautiful sea is the perfect backdrop for our lives. Whether I'm travelling abroad to experience new cultures or simply enjoying music and laughter at home, I’m all about making meaningful memories with the people I love. It’s the little things, as much as the big ones, that make life truly special.

People really matter to me. That’s why I’ve spent much of my life finding ways to support and walk alongside others, especially in times of transition and loss. Helping create a ceremony that honours a life lived—one that’s personal, heartfelt, and truly reflective of the person—is a profound privilege. It’s not just about marking the end of a life, but celebrating the richness of it, the legacy left behind, and the people whose lives were touched along the way.

For over 25 years, I’ve worked in pastoral care with people of all ages and backgrounds. I’m also a professional Life Coach, and this mixed with my previous work as a local church Pastor has allowed me to offer spiritual and non-spiritual support where it's wanted, always with authenticity and warmth. Whether you're looking for something faith-filled or not, traditional, quirky, or entirely unique—I'm here to shape a service that feels just right.

Becoming a Celebrant has brought together everything I care about most—people, family, story, meaning, and creativity. Life is precious. People are irreplaceable. And every story deserves to be honoured with care.
